René Vautier (1928-2015), cinéaste militant français est à l'honneur de ce dernier numéro de Décadrages, revue de cinéma suisse à parution semestrielle.
Pionnier du cinéma anticolonialiste (son court-métrage Afrique 50 est considéré comme l'un des premiers films anticolonialistes français), Vautier a su user du cinéma comme d’un outil de combat dans les luttes politiques comme lors de la guerre d’Algérie et l’Apartheid en Afrique du Sud.
