Quand il s’agit d’écrire sur Chantal Akerman, disparue le 5 octobre 2015, il faut se garder de s’en tenir à « exil, juive, nomade, autobiographie, enfermement, suicide », dit Corinne Rondeau, qui n’a pas hésité à se risquer au chemin de l’artiste, un chemin de visages, de paysages, de voyages. De Saute ma ville (1968) à No Home movie (2015), de films en installations, d’écrits en entretiens, son livre suit une des œuvres les plus singulières des dernières décennies, une traversée ininterrompue du jour à la nuit et de jour en jour, jusqu’à l’invention de sa propre nuit, celle « où l’on verra dans le noir ».

Corinne Rondeau fait entendre sa voix depuis quelques années sur France Culture et écrit dans différentes revues d'esthétique. Elle a publié, entre autres, dans cette même collection Qui a peur de Susan Sontag ? (2014), inaugurant une série de portraits de femme.
