Cinéphile passionné Nicolas Saada est réalisateur et scénariste de films (Les Parallèles, Espions, Taj Mahal, Thanksgiving). Il a animé une émission sur la musique de film sur Radio Nova ; Nova fait son cinéma et travaillé avec Pierre Chevalier à Arte entre 1992 et 1998. Dans les années 90, il collabore aussi aux Cahiers du Cinéma, et à dautres publications ; et réalise de nombreux entretiens. Dans les années 90, Nicolas Saada sentretient avec des cinéastes, techniciens du cinéma, producteur, chef-opérateur, monteur, scénaristes, musiciens et acteurs.
