Ingrid Caven joue, chante, écrit. Elle est née en Allemagne en 1938. Sur scène ou devant une caméra, elle a travaillé avec Rainer Werner Fassbinder, Werner Schroeter, Daniel Schmid, Jean Eustache, Peer Raben, Ulrike Ottinger, et de nombreux autres artistes de son temps.
