Il nous communique son éblouissement et ses méditations sur une vie paisible en accord avec la nature. Accompagné par les illustrations de Susan Morley, ces contemplations rencontrent de nombreux échos avec son œuvre cinématographique, de Délivrance à La Forêt d’émeraude.
Cette parution fait suite aux publications, chez Marest, des mémoires de
John Boorman, Aventures, de son premier roman, Tapis écarlate, et de la
monographie que lui a consacré Michel Ciment, Boorman, un visionnaire
en son temps.
