Robert Guédiguian est un cinéaste à part. ;, C'est peut-être parce qu'il aurait voulu être un " révolutionnaire professionnel " qu'il a fait dans sa profession une révolution : être indépendant, libre, fidèle à ses idées et à ses amitiés... Ce n'est pas si facile par les temps qui courent ! Son discours est clair, entier, sans compromis, sans maniérisme, mais toujours avec conviction et lucidité. " Une forme de communisme est la seule survie de l'humanité" dit-il. Mais en attendant des temps meilleurs, il continue de militer avec sa caméra en racontant la vie des siens. Et il est comme son cinéma : intelligent et très attachant.
