Journaliste indépendant, Fabian Maray est passionné par le cinéma, en particulier le cinéma américain.
Auteur d'une étude bio-filmographique sur Stanley Kubrick (Stanley Kubrick, un nouvel Icare, Éditions Grand Angle) et d'un petit voyage littéraire autour de l'œuvre de Woody Allen (Woody Allen. Little Big Man, Editions du Somnambule équivoque), coordinateur d'un ouvrage consacré à des portraits de cinéastes européens (Visages du cinéma européen, Éditions Luc Pire / Le Félin), il a publié dernièrement Terrence Malick, le Paradis perdu, chez Jacques Flament Éditions.
