Book Presentation:
Le plus souvent galvaudée, la dénomination "7ème art" se trouve appropriée par exception, si l'on peut appeler "art" ce qui n'a guère pour fin d'imiter mais, de l'aveu même de Bresson, de se déployer en écriture, régime d'un langage émancipé du rôle utilitaire et représentatif, excédant discours et raison, propre à renverser toute valeur admise. De sorte que la figure historique de Jeanne d'Arc en son héroïsme inspiré n'est pas prise pour modèle mais source de questionnement en tant que principe d'incitation au dépassement.
