Mankiewicz dans " Le Château du dragon " et " L'Aventure de Mme Muir ", Otto Preminger surtout, dans " Laura ", le " Mystérieux Docteur Korvo " et " Mark Dixon Détective ". Tous se sont demandés ce qui pouvait bien se passer derrière ce regard transparent et cette beauté aussi angoissée que limpide. Gene Tierney ne raconte pas seulement ses heures de gloire, Mademoiselle, vous devriez faire du cinéma témoigne également de son inquiétude devant la vie, et de cette fragilité qui la rendait si émouvante.
