Dans le cadre des Mercredis Mensuels du Collectif Jeune Cinéma (dir. Stéphane Marti). Journaliste, cinéaste et cofondateur de la coopérative Collectif Jeune Cinéma, qui remplace, en 1971, la structure homonyme fondée l'année précédente par Marcel Mazé, Raphaël Bassan participe, depuis une trentaine d'années, par ses innombrables articles, entretiens et textes théoriques dans de nombreuses revues spécialisées, à la défense, à la promotion et à la visibilité du cinéma expérimental.
