Bien longtemps après qu'elles aient disparu des écrans, les stars continuent de nous fasciner... Pour acquérir ce statut rare, les acteurs doivent incarner nos fantasmes et nos idéaux, se hissant au-delà d'eux-mêmes. Et, parfois, à force de ressasser, plus ou moins consciemment, les mêmes thèmes, de reproduire, de film en film, la même gestuelle, les stars deviennent des auteurs. Christophe Leclerc, né en 1966, est historien du cinéma. Il est l'auteur de deux ouvrages Avec T. E. Lawrence en Arabie : la Mission militaire française au Hedjaz (1998) et Lawrence d'Arabie : écrire l'Histoire au cinéma (2001).
