Henri Verlhac est auteur et éditeur. A l'origine de la collection Les Images d'une Vie, il est également photographe spécialisé dans la musique classique. Il vit à Paris. Peter Bogdanovich est l'auteur de nombreux livres sur le cinéma, avec des notamment des titres à propos d'Orson Welles, Howard Hawks, et John Ford. Bogdanovich a également réalisé des pièces de théâtre (The Big Knife, Camino Real, et Once in a Lifetime) et des films (Targets, The Last Picture Show, What's Up, Doc?, Paper Moon, et They All Laughed). Peter a déjà écrit pour le New York Times, le New York Observer, le Los Angeles Times, et Esquire.
