Monsieur Arkadin... un homme dont on ne connaît pas l'identité et dans le sillage duquel des témoins disparaissent.
Un homme secret que l'on retrouve, derrière chaque façade, chaque puits de pétrole et dont le nom figure sur d'innombrables chèques...
Et si cet homme démesuré, insaisissable, était Orson Welles lui-même ? S'il exprimait la blessure de ce dernier, toujours à la recherche de sa propre identité, sans jamais la saisir vraiment ?
Peut-être qu'Orson Welles nous livre la réponse en réalisant un peu plus tard le film du même nom et en choisissant d'en être l'interprète principal ?
